Poor “U”

I never realized how many negative connotations were associated with “U” until I started to search for my gratitude topic for the day.  Words like unlikely, unlock, unfazed, unlucky, and unequal and phrases like unanswered prayers (love that 1990s song by Garth Brooks) and unintended consequences.  Yuck.

All in all, “U” doesn’t have a lot going for it.  Umbrellas, unicorns, and the universe are all great.  I love to root for the underdog and appreciate unity, but I’m having trouble giving “U” more than that today, team.

I beg for your understanding.  And leave you with some pretty pictures from Myanmar, a country which, unfortunately, doesn’t begin with “U.”  Hopefully, I’ll return tomorrow full of vigor and vigilance for finishing this 26 day gratitude challenge.
